Site Foreman – Lead High-Quality Builds

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Site Foreman to join our residential building team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified builder ready to step into a leadership position and play a key role in delivering high-quality residential projects.
At MDB Homes Ltd, we take pride in the homes we build and the relationships we develop with clients and our team. Our work spans a range of custom homes and renovations across the Waikato, and we’re committed to maintaining high standards, clear communication, and a positive team culture.
What You’ll Need:
A New Zealand building qualification (Level 4 or higher)
Proven on-site experience in residential construction
Ability to lead and coordinate a small team of builders and apprentices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to read and interpret plans accurately
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Practical problem-solving skills and sound judgement on-site
Full, clean NZ driver’s licence

Based in Cambridge, MDB Homes Ltd is a locally owned building company that specialises in high-quality new builds and renovations. We’re known for our craftsmanship, client focus, and positive team environment. We’re passionate about helping the next generation of builders thrive.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Is keen to start a career in the residential building industry
Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in doing a job well
Works well with others and takes direction from supervisors
Has a basic understanding of tools and construction (preferred but not required)
Has (or is working toward) a full NZ driver’s licence
Is physically fit and ready to work on-site
